Magnus Racing to Offer $25 Bounty on Turner Motorsport for VIR
Ganassi isn’t the only team with a price on them.
May 10, 2011 (Salt Lake City, Utah) — Following GRAND-AM’s recent announcement to reward $25,000 to any GRAND-AM Daytona Prototype team who can beat the mighty Chip Ganassi Racing team at this weekend’s Bosch Engineering 250 at Virginia International Raceway, the fourth round of the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask no. 16, Magnus Racing has decided to add their own stake in to the program by offering an astounding $25* to anyone who can beat Turner Motorsport in the GT ranks.

Circumstances beyond Kyle Mohan’s control led to a rough weekend in Atlanta. His car was late arriving, then he had this crash in the top-32 when a water line burst.
He did have time to visit Rick Case Mazda in Duluth on Thursday night to sign autographs and hand out hero cards.
Tyler McQuarrie was robbed of a spot in the Top 8 when he was left at the starting light by Vaughn Gittin, Jr and the judges didn’t notice. But Tyler now sits 8th in the points and is in a good spot in the championship standings.

April 26, 2011 (Chandler, Arizona) – George Marstanovic, from Flagstaff, Arizona, defeated Alex Pfeiffer to win the second round of the 2011 Xtreme Drift Circuit national championship at Firebird Raceway near Phoenix Arizona. It was wet and rainy in Sonoma – just like always – but the Gatorz Challenge of the Americas wrapped up its fourth and most successful season yet. Three trips to the Rotax Grand Finals in Al Ain, Dubai, and two trips to the Rotax Grand Nationals in Salt Lake City, Utah, were awarded to the racers.
